Abstract

Each nation derives its images and figurative expressions from familiar phenomena and spheres of life, including elements of nature, animal and plant life, ancient forms of economic life, agriculture, fishing, hunting, shipbuilding, trade and exchange. Besides, most importantly, it takes from people's daily life activities. Therefore, this article highlights the specific peculiarities of somatic phraseology in English and Uzbek languages, analyzes the effectiveness of expressive productivity, national identity and uniqueness, and etymological processes of phraseology.
